Our bed arrived over the weekend! We ordered it about 7 weeks ago, and now that it's finally here I don't think I've ever been so in love with one piece of furniture. Here she is in all her glory:

Ever since we finished the shiplap I've been at a standstill waiting for this bed. Unlike for others, where I can whip up an entire room design at once, for myself I can never seem to do that. I think the luxury of knowing you can change your mind at any time greatly affects the pace...

The shiplap has begun! Finished? Not quite. With the chop saw + air compressor + nail gun we can truly only work on this DIY when the babies aren't home (thank you grandparents!), which means we've worked on this shiplap literally twice in the past month. We've finally come up with the plan for the Master Bedroom. It's been edited no less than 1000x, and I'm anticipating even more changes as we pull the trigger on each item. But at least the layout, lighting placement, and bones of the room have been established. Details still pending. As always.

Whenever I'm stumped on a space, I move on. I pretend it doesn't exist, nor does it need my attention. A perfect example of exactly that, is our upstairs hallway.
